In a festive mood and with smiles all around, New Year’s cake-cutting ceremonies were held over the past few days at all of our organization’s reception centers for unaccompanied minors. Each center celebrated in its own unique way, creating beautiful moments for the children and staff.
At one of the events, the atmosphere was particularly warm and festive, with the participation of guests and staff. The event was honored by the presence of the organization’s President, His Eminence Metropolitan Athenagoras of Ilion, as well as the General Director, Archimandrite Panteleimon Papasynefakis, with whom New Year’s greetings were exchanged.
A highlight of the celebration was the theatrical performance of “Aladdin,” presented in a more artistic and creative adaptation. The children, in collaboration with the staff, performed the play with great effort, imagination, and passion, bringing laughter and emotion to everyone.
The event concluded with music, dancing, and beautiful moments of togetherness, in an atmosphere of joy and unity.
At another reception center for unaccompanied minors, the traditional cutting of the New Year’s cake also took place, in a simple and warm setting. The New Year’s cakes were handmade and prepared with love by the center’s educator, adding a special, personal touch to the celebration.
The event was honored by the presence of the General Director, Arch. Panteleimon Papasynefakis, with whom we exchanged wishes for good health, creativity, and a year filled with meaningful collaboration.
