The Ministry of Immigration and Asylum, as part of its integration activities, planned, in collaboration with the Hellenic Parliament’s Foundation for Parliamentaryism and Democracy, the participation of teenage immigrants and beneficiaries of international protection in the “Democracy Summer Workshop” educational program.
Children from one of our shelters also attended the workshop, who as part of the program, visited the Thisio, the Ancient Market, the Pnyka, the Plaka, the Old Parliament and the Greek Parliament. The purpose of the visits was to make the children aware of the history of Greek parliamentarianism.
* The shelter for unaccompanied minors operates in the framework of the program “Creation and operation of Shelters for Unaccompanied Minor Refugees and Migrants” funded by the Sectoral Development Program of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum.
