During the Easter season, the Accommodation Centers for Unaccompanied Minors were filled with color, creativity, and moments that brought the children closer to the traditions and meaning of the holiday.
As part of the preparations, the children actively participated in various activities, making handmade candles, painting and decorating eggs, and preparing traditional Easter sweets. Through these activities, they had the opportunity not only to learn about the customs but also to share elements of their own cultures, fostering a beautiful dialogue about the traditions and symbolism of each place.
The days culminated in moments of joy and participation, such as the egg-tapping and the exchange of wishes, while in some cases a visit to a church for the Resurrection was also organized, in a peaceful and moving atmosphere. At the same time, acts of generosity, such as the distribution of handmade candles in the neighborhood, highlighted a sense of solidarity and connection with the local community.
All these small but meaningful moments created a warm and festive atmosphere, filled with smiles, participation, and shared experiences, which strengthened the sense of community and gave the children the opportunity to experience Easter in a meaningful and hands-on way.
