Lessons in ethics under the stars of Epidaurus

Children from SYNYPARXIS’ Accommodation Centre had the opportunity to live a unique experience, watching Sophocles’ play Antigone, directed by Urlich Rasche, at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus. The imposing atmosphere of the venue and the dynamic interpretation of the play, which addresses timeless issues of justice and morality, provoked intense reflection and admiration.

This participation was made possible thanks to the support of the Athens and Epidaurus Festival. Warm thanks are expressed to the Artistic Director Mrs. Katerina Evaggelatou, the President Mr. Dimitris Passa and the General Director Mr. Ioannis Kaplanis, for the opportunity they offered to the children to come into contact with ancient tragedy in such an important cultural context.
