At the accommodation center for unaccompanied minors, the return from school was marked by a lovely burst of energy. Before lunch, our boys gathered around the table-top soccer game and organized a small, impromptu tournament that filled the room with smiles and excitement.
With focus, good spirits, and a spirit of teamwork, they formed teams, kept score, and gave their best in every game. The back-and-forth nature of the results kept everyone on the edge of their seats, while spectators cheered on their teammates with great enthusiasm.
Through this simple activity, team spirit, friendly competition, and the bonds between them were strengthened. Moments like these remind us that daily life at the reception center is not just about schedules and obligations, but also a space for play, self-expression, and meaningful coexistence.
