The project “Complementary Mechanism for Supporting the National Strategy for the protection of unaccompanied minors in Greece” aims to create a complementary support mechanism to address identified needs and structural gaps in the existing framework.
In particular, the project includes: a) the establishment and operation of 5 Centres throughout Greece to provide specialized services in mental health issues, legal assistance, dealing with the phenomenon of school dropout as well as services for unaccompanied minors who, with the transition to adulthood (18-21 years old), lack a protective framework; b) training and clinical supervision for professionals in the field; c) escort services in cases of emergency transport or hospitalization in nursing institutions; d) educational and informational material and e
