The project “Rebuild our Lives- legal aid for refugees in Athens” was implemented by the Integration Center for Migrant Workers – Ecumenical Refugee Program with the support of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, from the 1st of September 2017 till the end of 2018. It aimed to contribute to a durable solution for vulnerable cases of asylum seekers/refugees and grant assistance to rebuild their lives. The project offered legal aid and social support to at least 400 people in need of international protection so as to improve their situation with regards to their legal and social rights. It also included psycho-social support to all KSPM-ERP’s employees through sensitization and supervision groups conducted by experienced specialized psychologists. The activity aimed at enhancing team spirit, relieving job-related stress and preventing burn out and secondary traumatization.
