Learning About Turtle Protection with ‘ARCHELON – The Sea Turtle Protection Society

Children and staff from our shelter visited “ARCHELON – The Sea Turtle Protection Society”! The main mission of the people there is the rescue and care of injured and sick turtles, raising public awareness, and systematic monitoring and research.

They had the opportunity to see sea turtles up close, learn a lot about their habits, care, and also about human behaviors that can cost a turtle’s life.
