Prayer at the Athens New Mosque

Respecting the religious needs of the children, two days before their own New Year’s Eve, unaccompanied minors who live in one of our shelters, visited with their caregivers the Athens New Mosque for their prayer. Luckily, our children had the opportunity to meet and be photographed with the Olympiacos football players, Youssef El-Arabi and Yann Gérard M’Vila.

We warmly thank the Board of the Mosque for the hospitality and the gifts to our children!

* The shelter for unaccompanied minors operates in the framework of the program “Creation and operation of Shelters for Unaccompanied Minor Refugees and Migrants” funded by the Sectoral Development Program of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum.
