MEPs Mrs Michaela Šojdrová (Czech Republic) and Mrs Julie Girling (Great Britain) visited today February 7 2019, the offices of our Center at the Holy Synod Palace. The Very Reverend Archimandrite Panteleimon Papasynefakis, Director of the “Center” welcomed the members of the European Parliament and together with his colleagues, had the opportunity to inform them about the work being done and the major challenges of the refugee issue. The MEPs wanted to be particularly informed about issues concerning unaccompanied minors and how they are supported by the Church of Greece. Finally, they expressed the wish for future cooperation in the context of the European Parliament’s actions, which will soon be finalized in Brussels.
