We had the honour of welcoming His Excellency the Ambassador of Poland in Greece, Mr. Artur Piotr Lompart, in one of our shelters hosting unaccompanied refugee minors.
Our distinguished guest was welcomed by the General Director of the organization, Arch. Panteleimon Papasynefakis, the Director of Social and Legal Services Mrs. Athanasia Kotsiatou, as well as the staff of the shelter. After thanking him for his presence, he was given a tour of all the premises and had the opportunity to communicate with the refugees.
Afterwards, an in-depth discussion took place, during which the General Director described the work of the Church of Greece through SYNYPARXIS. Mr. Lompart had a wide-ranging briefing on both the programs we implement and the daily operation of our shelters, expressing his admiration for this work of the Church.
Before his departure, the General Director offered His Excellency the Ambassador souvenirs as a counterpart of his presence in our shelter.
