Visit to Byzantine and Christian Museum

On Saturday 12/10 our second visit to the Byzantine and Christian Museum was held as part of the Center’s initiatives to promote the social integration of refugees. Children and parents, refugees and Greeks, had the opportunity to participate in a mosaic educational program. Through the narrative and participatory observation of the relevant exhibits, our team – with the help of experts – discovered the historical roots of the mosaic, their materials and techniques of creation. At the same time, children and parents had the opportunity to express themselves artistically based on what they had learned, creating their own mosaic works of art.
