Tuesday 27 April, was a special day for all employees of SYNYPARXIS as they had the great privilege to welcome to our new shelter of unaccompanied minors, Her Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic Mrs. Aikaterini Sakellaropoulou and His Beatitude Hieronymos II, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece.
The President of the Republic was welcomed by His Beatitude Hieronymos II, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, the President of “SYNYPARXIS” Bishop of Ilion, Acharnes and Petroupolis Mr. Athenagoras, and the Bishop of Nikea Mr. Alexios.
Among the high guests were also the Deputy Minister of Immigration and Asylum Mrs. Sofia Voultepsi, the Special Secretary for Unaccompanied Minors Mrs. Irini Agapidaki and the Director of the International Organization for Migration of Greece Mr. Rocco Gianlucca.
On behalf of “SYNYPARXIS” its President Bishop of Ilion, Acharnes and Petroupolis Mr. Athenagoras welcomed the guests, while the General Director Arch. Panteleimon Papasinefakis presented a brief history of the organization and showed the guests around the premises.
