Event commemorating the 3-year anniversary of our shelter’s operation in Thessaloniki

A few days ago, the event celebrating the 3-year anniversary of our shelter’s operation in Thessaloniki was successfully held! The General Director of the AMKE SYNYPARXIS, Archimandrite Panteleimon Papasynephefakis, the Director of Social and Legal Services, Ms. Athanasia Kotsiatou, and employees from the central administration attended this celebration.

In addition to the staff of the facility and the central administration, our honored guests were also present. Specifically, we were honored by the presence of the Mayor of Oraiokastro, Mr. Panteleimon Tsakiris, the Mayor of Ampelokipoi-Menemeni, Mr. Lazaros Kyrizoglou, the Deputy Mayor for Social Policy and Solidarity of the Municipality of Oraiokastro, Ms. Christina Zapra, the Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning Applications of the Municipality of Oraiokastro, Mr. Evangelos Kantartzis, the Representative of His Eminence the Metropolitan of Neapoli and Stavroupoli, Fr. Panteleimon Anastasiadis, the Director of Action and Social Contribution, representing “ΧΑΝΘ”, Ms. Johni Aristi, and representatives from the organizations NAOMI, METAdrasi, and PNOI ELPIDAS.

During this anniversary, all the invited guests praised the significant work of our organization and mentioned the challenges, which were quickly addressed thanks to the proof of the good work carried out by the Church of Greece and SYNYPARXIS. The speech of our General Director followed this acknowledgment, who, after conveying the warm wishes of His Eminence the Metropolitan of Ilioupolis, Mr. Athinagoras, spoke about the work of the Church of Greece through our organization, SYNYPARXIS.

After cutting the anniversary cake, our children started dancing and singing, creating a delightful atmosphere for all the visitors! We warmly thank Mr. Georgios Papakonstantinou for his donation of the buffet and catering for the event!
