On Wednesday, December 15 2021, a new multipurpose hall for the needs of our minors was launched in our shelter at Thessaloniki. His Eminence the Metropolitan of Neapolis Mr. Varnavas honoured us with his presence, accompanied by clergy of the Diocese. His Eminence was welcomed by the General Director of Synyparxis, Arch. P. Papasinefakis, the staff of the Shelter and the deputy mayors of the Municipality of Oreokastro ms Christina Zarpa and mr Evangelos Kantartzis.
During their visit, our guests were informed about the shelter’s operation as well as the smooth integration of the children into the local community which has been eagerly contributing in their support. His Excellency addressed words of love in the spirit of the season and offered souvenirs to the children and the employees. Our children responded with an applause and handed handmade greeting cards to his Excellency and the Municipality representatives.
