Participation of a shelter of SYNYPARXIS in the Visual and Photography Exhibition ‘Travelling’

We are pleased to announce that artworks created by the children in our shelter will be part of the Visual and Photography Exhibition ‘Travelling’. We invite you all to admire the creations of our children!

Below you can find useful information about the exhibition:

The exhibition will take place in the historic building of X.A.N.TH., in the ‘Action’ Hall, and will be open to the public from Sunday, May 7th to Saturday, May 13th, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The exhibition features forty-eight (48) artworks created by unaccompanied minors from different countries of origin (Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Nigeria, Iraq, Sierra Leone, Egypt). These artworks depict the children’s desires, dreams for the future, and the experiences they have gained through their journey, starting from their home country and aiming for a new life.

The exhibition is organized by the Integration and Support Unit for Unaccompanied Minors of the Special Secretariat for the Protection of Unaccompanied Minors, under the Ministry of Migration and Asylum, in collaboration with the organizations: ARSIS, SYNYPARXIS-Universal Refugee Program, International Organization for Migration, and the 5th Workshop of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts of the School of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
