Today, May 31, 2022, in the context of our many years of cooperation, prominent members of the Churches Commission for Migrants in Europe (CCME) visited the offices of SYNYPARXIS in Athens.
After the welcoming of the delegation by the General Manager, Arch. Panteleimon Papasinefakis, various issues related to the current situation of refugees in Greece were discussed. Information was also provided on the actions of the Church of Greece -through the organization- to the unaccompanied minor refugees as well as on the challenges and difficulties that arise.
The General Manager accompanied the members of the delegation to an accommodation shelter for unaccompanied minors of the organization. After the welcoming of the President of the Metropolitan of Iliou, Acharnes and St. Petersburg, Mr. Athenagoras, the delegation had the opportunity to tour the facilities, talk and have lunch with the children and employees.
